Kathryn is tenacious, and some might stay stubborn. She doesn’t give up on herself, her family, or her clients, Your greatest strength is your greatest weakness, and for those who know her, know that when she sets her mind to something, she does it. She believes in making things happen, rather than waiting for them to happen. You create your present and future. So what do you want to create? She comes from a background of Dance, Yoga, CrossFit, and is currently competing in Olympic Lifting.
Michaela has struggled with her weight her entire life. Since hitting puberty she has fluctuated from 25-40% body fat. Following a variety of injuries, Michaela found it very difficult to continue with regular exercise for long periods of time. This made losing weight and keeping it off very challenging. Having tried most diets at last once, Michaela saw differing levels of success with each. However, the one thing she did not find was sustainability. Eventually, the weight came back and usually within a few months. In 2014, after joining a local CrossFit gym, along with training, she decided to start looking very closely at what she was eating. Discovering the importance of being mindful of her macronutrient intake was the key to finding sustainable and long-term weight-loss. Simply making a few changes to her diet, Michaela was able to increase performance at the gym, improve her sleep and lose body fat. Since November 2014, Michaela has lost 40+lbs and continues to lean down.
